We’ll be showcasing Betty Boop, the Queen of the Animated Screen, as a major Paramount Pictures star in Pre-Code Hollywood. We’ll discuss her importance as sexy animated Pre-Code character in the context of early 1930s filmmaking and the impact the Hays Code had on her career. And lest that not tempt you enough, we’ll share the meaning of Betty’s boop-oop-a-doop!
