This three-part course introduces the performers in the Three Stooges act, describes their 50+-year history from Vaudeville stage to movie screen to television, explores the Stooges’ style of physical comedy, shows the Stooge’s comedy in action, and shares the legacy of The Three Stooges comedy troupe. Part 1 shares who’s who in the Stooges, showcases their early years performing and introduces the principles of Stooges comedy. Part 2 covers The Three Stooges act highlights from short-subject films, to feature films to television and cartoons. Part 3 looks at the end of the Stooges’ career and the legacy of their comedy.
